a few weeks ago we had a cougar here in chicago. and chicago decided to kill it.
Dear city of chicago,
is that really how we do things around here? we just shoot to kill lost animals? we just decided who lives and who dies based on how they may not belong where they are? if that’s true why don’t you shoot me when/if i go to gay pride this summer? or someone at a baseball game not eating a hot dog? why don’t you shoot yourself for taking land that didn’t belong to you, or for building skyscrapers on a swamp. fuck, nature was here first so really just shoot yourself in the face. i thought we were supposed to call animal control to knock an animal out and then bring it back where we’ve decided it belongs. can we please go back to doing that? maybe? dick!
